If you live a relatively "normal" life that doesnt involve running into bad guys, or live in a bad neighborhood then the P365 would be a perfect gun for home defense. The sear drops straight down into the chassis to release the striker. Pretty easy to see when your slide is off the gun. Glocks are partially cocked when racked. The trigger pull fully cocks and releases the striker. Check out this animation of the Glock action.Sig has a conversion kit listed for $399.99 that also includes the grip frame and a single .380 10 round mag (plus the barrel/slide/recoil spring). I have never heard of Sig acknowledging any issues other than a bad batch of strikers but I probably couldn't find the source. There is evidence that Sig has made "rolling" changes to improve the P365. Most "return to battery", "dead trigger", and barrel peening issues seem to have been minimized greatly..
